Trail Mix Appetite Suppressant
Suppressing our appetite is one very important fact when it comes to losing weight. WE NEED A HEALTHY AND SAFE WAY FOR SUPPRESSING OUR APPETITES! Everyone that is on a diet could literally lose weight in about 2 weeks if they could just stop eating. This is a very hard thing to do because we live in a world of appetites. We dwell in the lower nature of ourselves, and the way we eat proves this to be true. If we dwell from our upper region of our bodies which is above the navel; We would all be high on life and eating a spiritual food, and we would be busy living. But now we are busy dieing from over active appetites.
In the bible Jesus states that our people perish from the lack of knowledge. Well Jesus did not lie; he told nothing but the truth, because look at how we are sick and dieing. There is a knowledge out there that is being kept from us about food and this deficiency of knowledge is causing our early death. Jesus said that he came to give us life and life more abundantly. So, we are doing something wrong, because we have yet to achieve that life and life more abundantly. And it is not after we die, because if we are dead we are not a live. We must learn how to suppress our appetites. We must be in control of our bodies. No one who does not have a physical job should eat more than 3 meals a day. That is entirely too much food for our bodies to process in a timely manner. God made our bodies to process one meal every 24hrs.
Most of us eat breakfast (which means break fast). Break your fast when you get up in the morning. Then we eat lunch, snacks, dinner, and more snacks before going to bed.
What we have not realized is that when we lay down our digestive system shuts down, it does not work while we are sleeping. So all of that food is still in our stomachs and intestine. Wow! what a nasty recipe for disaster on our bodies and health. Only greedy animals eat all day such as the pig. But notice other animals that eat one complete meal such as the lion. He eats that complete meal let it digest and then hunt again. Let us preserve our health with proper exercise and proper foods at the proper times.
Now back to the trail mix. One thing that I have found is that eating a trail mix will help you suppress your appetite. I eat trail mix combined with banana chips, blue berries, cherries, raisins, almonds and delicious pineapple (do not add nuts such as pecans, peanuts, walnuts etc. to your mix. Only add almonds or other seeds), before every meal I will eat my trail mix and drink water. Most of the times eating the trail mix will suppress my appetite and make me full. And one of the many wonders I have experienced from eating my trail mix is that it have suppressed my appetite for 48 hrs. and increased my use of the restroom; what an accomplishment. You will notice how your body reacts and how it will get on track and you will began to lose weight.
You will not need a diet pill to help you to fill full. Eat the mix before every meal along with drinking water and this will curb your appetite and help you to go to the restroom more often. This is the safest way to gain health and lose weight. You don't need expensive surgery, or dangerous diet pills to help you to reach your weight loss goal.
I have eaten trail mix and then a bowl of navy beans and it suppressed my appetite for over 48hrs. this you should try.

Lose Weight With Good Posture
Did you know that with good posture you can lose weight? Good posture will help you to have a very strong core and will keep you standing straight as an arrow. Good posture will give you a strong back with deeper breathing. Deep breathing helps to oxygenate your cells and will keep you energized. When you can take in the air that is full atoms (the atoms of life) this will give you energy and more life.
When you start being more conscience of your posture you will began to notice what a workout it is. For those of us who work and it requires that we sit for hours and hours at a time. You should sit with a straight back with your thighs straight and legs bent at the knees and feet flat on the floor. While doing this feel the parts of the body that this good sitting posture is working and notice your breathing. Whenever you are sitting try to make sure that you keep this posture and you will train your body, and you will notice weight loss and toning. You will began to sweat by just sitting.
For those of us who stand all day or for better part of the day. You should wear good comfortable shoes for leg, back and feet support. And wear stockings to help hold you and help blood flow. Stand with your back straight with your navel pulled in and your tail bone tucked and breathing should be deep. This is not going to be easy when you first start out, but it will not take long to train your body to get use to it. And you will began to sweat, tone and lose weight. What we have not been taught about exercise is the proper form of exercise we should have in order to get the best results. The best form of exercise is walking...form being the operative word here. If you are doing this form and you are consistent with it, you will working every part of your body, and I do mean every part. And getting very pleasing results.
If you walk for the most part of your day, every time you move you should use the walking form. Your shoulders should be pulled back, your chest raised, your neck straight and head held high. Lift the upper of your body from the waist with your back straight and walk and swing those arms if you can. When walking try to over exaggerate your movement from the waist, by turning from left to right adding a slight twist from the waist and slightly cross your legs in front as you walk. I promise you you will feel the workout and be sore from your movements. If you are at work your friends may wonder what you are doing but when they see the results they will soon join you.
For core strengthening I am not a big advocate for lying on the floor and raising the body (crunches). It will give you a strong core, but it will not last long if you take long breaks from exercising. Another reason I am not a big fan of crunches is when you lie down your lungs collapse. How will you be able to pull in the much needed air in the body to help oxygenate your cells and give you energy. Core strength does not come from daily exercise or going to the gym. To prove my point lets say that you exercise daily by going to the gym. And as we all do get lazy and don't feel like going, we break for a while. You will see your posture and breathing change. But if you train yourself how to have the best form you will always keep that perfect posture and continue to lose weight and tone. Because your body will continue to burn and tone, because that is the way you have trained your body.
Learn the perfect form first then add additional exercise to it if you like. But once you start the perfect form for your daily exercise you will not need to go to the gym or have a trainer. You will be your own trainer. And exercising everyday something you thought that you would never do.

Mashed Carrots Vs. Baked Potato
I will be the first one to admit that I love the taste of a big, delicious, stuffed to the brim bake potato (BIG GRIN :). But I will also, be the first to admit that I do not love the fat that comes along with that big, delicious, stuffed to the brim bake potato (A GREAT BIG SOBB :(. One thing that I have learned about eating is...there is a delicious, healthy alternative to the nemesis (bad food that taste good) to our health. We have to know that it is ok to have fat (good fat that God put in our food) in our diet. But what kind of fat? When the good fat is taken out of our food and replaced with the bad fat (man made fat) these fats causes us to have health problems. I am not a big fan of low fat and no fat foods. I view these types of food as enemies to my health. To eat these food is not a good practice for anyone over long periods of time. When you eat like this YOU CREATE A NEMESIS to your health. There is an art to eating. Believe it or not no one can eat what they want, how they want and when they without paying a price. Because there are proper times to eat. How is it possible to eat 3 meals a day and snacks in between and be healthy and not gain weight. When the body can only digest one meal at a time. And different foods digest at different times. Some foods take 1 hour and others take nearly all day mostly meats.
When we eat like this it is very damaging to the body and causes a severe back up of foods in our delicate systems. Believe it or not eating like this cause us to prematurely age. And there is an art to food, and how food reacts in the body. And all of these components work together to keep us going and allows us to be free, to be alive, and to be vibrant, teaming with life.
Foods such as the potato are not good for our health to eat on a constant basis. Potatoes are poisonous and have been re-engineered so that they will not kill us so quickly. If you are a potato lover eat red potatoes. I want to introduce the alternative to eating potatoes, carrots. You can fix and serve carrots just like you would fix and serve potatoes. Trust me they are absolutely delicious.
Ingredients needed are:
Fresh potatoes (the ones you have to peel)
Sour Cream
Butter
Salt & Pepper
Smoked (Salmon or Thinly sliced smoked turkey)
Green Onions
Cheese
Cilantro
And any other of your favorites.
In a large pot boil your carrots until tender add a little salt to the water. In a large skillet fry your salmon or turkey until crispy, drain and set to the side. When your carrots are done you can add all of your fixings and you will enjoy this dish. Carrots are very filling but in a good way. Let me hear from you. ENJOY!!!!!!!!!

Healthy Tasty Food
Would you believe me if I told you that you can use salmon to season your favorite food and it not taste fishy? Well its' true. You can use smoked salmon to season your beans, make your baked potato more tasty or anything that requires a smokey bacon taste without using bacon.
There are a lot of us looking for ways to eat healthy without losing the flavor or taste of our favorite foods...remember "starkist donen't want tuna with good taste, starkist wants tuna with taste good". People do not want to give up the taste good of their food to gain health. I for one, would still like to taste that smokey flavor in my beans, cabbage, spinach and bake potato just to name a few. And I don't want to use meat to give me that taste good flavor.
When you use smoked salmon to flavor your food you cut down on fat and calories and gain health; good health is the goal.
I don't want to bore you with all the details of how you should eat, because most of us know how we should eat...just doing it is the hard part. What I want to share with you are the details on how to get this little salmon to flavor your food.
Lets' start with the cabbage something simple, easy and delicious.
I chose the above picture because I wanted to show you what part of the cabbage you should eat. You should pull away all of the darker greener leaves, because they can make you gassy and too many green veggies too often is not good for the digestive track.
The first thing that you want to do is cut and wash your cabbage, and cut the cabbage to your desired size, and place in a strainer. After the cabbage has drained place the cabbage in a large bowl and add olive oil, onions (chopped or sliced) and garlic (chopped). With your hands toss the cabbage with olive oil, onions, garlic, and make sure that it is completely covered. Set the cabbage to the side. Make sure to have your skillet hot with oil that covers the bottom the bottom of the skillet (not too much oil) do not use olive oil to brown your salmon (you can use vegetable oil, corn oil or safflower oil). Have your salmon cut and ready to place into the skillet. You will fry until the salmon is golden brown or crispy; which ever comes first. After the salmon has finished cooking place on paper towel to absorb the excess oil. Now place the cabbage into the same skillet and add the smoked salmon to the cabbage. Add sea salt or season all seasoning, pepper (red or black). Let the cabbage simmer on a low heat with a lid and Stir every now and then to make sure that all of the cabbage cooks evenly.
Trust me this is the best dish you have ever had without using meat to flavor it. If you told your friends or family that you did not use meant to flavor your cabbage they would not believe you.
